Lynne Perrella Infusions Stencil Resist Card

I am just thrilled about the awesome topic at PaperArtsy this go, Paint with Infusions.  I have been trying to organize my cheapie acrylic paint collection and had come across this beautiful color of aqua.

I brushed it on loosely onto a watercolor panel.  I used IndigoBlu Slap-it-on paste through a new Tim Holtz stencil.  The Slap-it-on is clear and I thought it would make a beautiful resist, allowing the paint color to show through.  It did!

I spritzed my panel and sprinkled on Infusions, letting the color run through the cracks of the paste until I was pleased.

Sadly, I stamped all of my text upside down.  These darker areas are the parts of the paper I didn't paint with acrylic.  I layered a strip of vintage lace and crinkled inky paper over a bundle of string and one of Tim's new Quote Chips, lightly inked with DOX.  I used a favorite Lynne Perrella stamp, also stamped onto inky Infusions paper.

I am thrilled about these new words.  They are large and bold and I love the white.  Thanks for visiting today!  :)
